Psychiatric Care in Tagalog and English
Chester Profeta, PMHNP-BC, speaks Tagalog. You can talk about how you are feeling in whichever language is most comfortable, and switch between the two as much as you like.
Why language matters in mental health care
Describing anxiety, low mood, or trouble focusing is hard enough in any language. For a lot of people, some feelings are simply easier to explain in the language they grew up with. For some families, talking about mental health at all can feel uncomfortable, and being able to do it in your own language can make that first step easier.
BrainHelp offers the same care in Tagalog as in English: evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
Serving the Filipino community in the South Bay
In-person visits are at 1190 Lincoln Ave in San Jose, a short drive from Milpitas, Berryessa, Evergreen, and other South Bay neighborhoods. Telehealth visits are available to Tagalog speakers anywhere in California.

I'm here to help.
